Hahaha. And truly, i am already missing camp. This is totally unexpected. Because i mean, most of us had the same thinking. Man! Consecration. Sounds boring. But i guess it's at that point that we realised we're all pretty much wrong. I came to camp pretty much prepared, or so i thought i was, and had all these cheers and everything. But being true to our group name, my group was awfully PEACEFUL. Like, all just, stone, watch the rest play games, win or lose, whatever. LOL. And i couldn't believe that atmosphere. Until Cheryl was like, "Once you've been to 4 or 5 years of Uth Camps, games don't really matter." It was from then that i realised, just having fun in the game was more important and that games and winning, weren't the major parts of the camp. So then, cheering or not, was not important. I always felt like my cheers had to be good, and that it was something people will expect out of me because in Ian's words, I set the standard for cheers in camp. So it's something i felt compelled to do well in. But my group weren't that enthu about cheers. So i mean, i'm cool with it. I did my part by having a good cheer. And no thanks to Daniel for NOT memorising such a simple cheer. You're from HCI dude. Shouldn't you be able to memorise anything in one short time? But nevermind. Thank God i had a mind to write the cheers down for some unknown reason. Nonetheless, due to the excessive shouting i had to do to lead the cheer, i have lost my voice and i have a flu too. And i had slight fevers during camp. Panadol came to the rescue. Although ChangShuo scared the crap out of me by telling me how Panadol stays in your liver after you take it. FREAKY.
Everybody's doing camp posts and just basically thanking everyone. I was contemplating the option of doing a description of every single day, but realised that, i can't do that because there's just so many things going on for me to fully put them in words. Hahaha. I love camp. No matter how i wasn't exactly looking forward to it, i have to thank God for everything He has done in this camp to make it so memorable and how He has proven that sometimes, we cannot judge a camp, by it's camp name :)
Thanksgiving list:
1. God. For just being our Awesome God. For His amazing presence in camp. For working in our hearts and just comforting us, drawing us nearer to Him. And for making this camp so wonderful for all of us. He's our Heavenly Father who sacrificed His Son to save us. And yet we fail Him time and time again. What evil hearts we have that are so ungrateful. But Lord, thank You for being You and for loving us, while we were yet sinners.
2. Peace. For being so peaceful in everything we did. HAHAHA. It bothered me at first. But come to think of it, we're really faithful to our name of Peace. Hahaha! But nonetheless, it was good fun being with you guys in peace. Although i didn't really talk to Peace guys much, but i had fun with the girls. Hahaha. Love Peace! The girls rocked the Earth Ball game yo!
3. My small group members. Although we didn't spend much time together apart from small group discussions, i thank God for you girls because you girls just opened up and shared with me and that really blessed my heart.
Aika - I'm so glad you have decided to come for camp and then make another major decision by surrendering your life and your heart back to God. You have no idea how much that decision impacted me because i'm so glad to see you shining once again for Christ. Be steadfast in your faith and we shall encourage one another to do our devotions every day and grow in our Lord. I love you from the depths of my heart to the bottom of my soul!
Alyssa - Stupid Princess. You should be honoured the QUEEN wrote in your book okay. Hahaha. But you're a great crazy girl. And i'll be keeping you in my prayers. Continue to study hard and do well in school. Be a testimony that everyone will marvel at and just shine for Him! Love you fake princess. Hahaha.
Glenda - Although i didn't spend much time with you in this camp, i really thank God for giving me the burden to put you in my group. You're an amazing girl and you have talents that you can really use for God. I hope you'll continue to grow in faith and study hard. No matter where you go, aim to make a difference in people's lives. Catch up soon!
Jo Lin - Sadly enough, you weren't around most of the time and i prayed for an opportunity to talk to you, but God said no. I am cool with it but i have this deep burden for you. I do hope you'll turn your eyes back to our Lord Jesus and if you want to be a good testimony to Deniz, this is the only way. Please remember to put God first in whatever you do and may all your decisions be one that that is pleasing in the eyes of the Lord. He will always love you no matter what, till the rest of eternity. So don't turn your back on Christ and let Him work in your life. I love you and miss you very much sister. Go back to your First Love.
Leonah - You're young and you have much to learn. But i love you nonetheless for being so bright and chirpy and so chatty that you're always willing to talk and just make conversation with me! You're a great girl and i really hope you'll make friends your own age so that you can share your problems with them. You need to understand that your family is very important that you can choose everything but your family so please work at your relationship with your family. I will pray for you always and always will shower care on you! Hahaha. Love you!

Audrey - You're a blessing to my heart. For playing silly games like Ping Pong Piang or whatever. And just your presence is great. And encouraging me too. Thanks for being so funny and everything! Bernice - HELLO FELLOW HSM FAN! :) Hahahah. We never did manage to sing HSM songs through the night. Hahaha. But you're a blessing all over too. Just talking to you is funny and everything. And seeing you surrender yourself back to Christ is great beyond words. Continue to love Him so much and grow so much that people think you're a giant beanstalk over night! Okay. That was a really random description. Hahaha. Make Him a permanent part of your life.
Beverly - Although you only dropped in during one small group discussion, i thank God you opened up your heart to us and prayed. And to see you turning your life and everything back to Christ is great. I heart about your ministry in the past and i can see the people whom you've brought in were truly blessed by seeing you go back to God after running for so long. Thank God for bringing you back and touching and moving your heart once again. Be that beacon of light once again and draw the people in with your amazing charm :)
Cheryl - XUE ER! Hahaha. Although we didn't talk much in camp, thanks for always guiding me and encouraging me giving me good advice all the time. Hahaha. And praying for me too! You've always been a blessing in my life and i think you'll always will. I thank God for letting me get close to you and know you so much better. I know you miss Freezer but you'll see him next year! Hahaha. And maybe i'll bring another fella along. Hahaha. Thanks for talking to Alyssa and annoying her about the Guitar Legend game. Rock on for Christ!
Kimberly - Hello Efron Fan! I saw that in your notebook. Hahaha. I sent you two songs okay! Hahaha. And it was fun playing games with you in our room. We were all so silly. Hahaha. I miss you okay. And visit often! We'll sing HSM through the night and talk about how hot Zac Efron is and how annoying that Vanessa Hudgens manage to hook him up. Hahaha. But putting all those things aside, i hope you'll consecrate your life to God and grow in Him and be an example to everybody around you. Love you babe!
Jessie - Thank you for the Panadol and your showers of cares on me. Hahaha. You're a blessing and you always thank God for all the leaders. That really makes me feel very appreciated and eveything. Jo En - Stupid lion king. Snore so loudly that it woke me up. Hahaha. But i thank God for bringing you back to Him and seeing you surrender your life back to God is amazing. I understand the need to be accepted by people around you. But please differentiate between good and bad influences. And be faithful to the decision you made in this past camp and grow in Christ.

It's nice sleeping with you and i'm sorry for snatching the sleeping bag/blanket away from you. Hahaha. But i love you millions and i thank God for Him just touching your heart. Luzerne - Stupid. Put mud on my face. It was clean already okay! And my cup noodles are still in your bag. Hahaha. Better frame up my nametag and admire it everyday okay. And re-read the one page long essay inside your booklet. Hahaha. Took me so long to write that that stupid Louis was bugging me to write faster because i annoyed him before that. HAHAHA. Weijie - Ah well. We didn't get to spend much time this time round! But there's about two more years down the road. I'll be seeing you so often i would wish you'll go back to Australia! Nah. Just kidding. I'm super glad you're back :) And making me worried about you running away isn't one way to assure that i really do care okay. Hahaha. But i thank God that you did have a revival in the end and not think about how tired your stinky legs were. Hahaha. Continue to burn that fire so brightly for God and grow in Christ.
Weiwen - This is an edit okay. Because wenny wanted me to thank God for him. Hahaha. I thank God for him always being so funny and giving me that stupid smile of his and NOT SHARING HIS CHICKEN IN A BISCUIT WITH ME. Hahaha. 7. Games were fun! Hahaha. I liked it a lot. Especially the muddy ones. Thank God for the games team and everyone who made the games so enjoyable!
8. Messages were good and really pierced my heart time and time again. Thank God the messages and for them being able to work in our hearts to once again turning us back to the cross!
It was truly God's camp as we watcheed Him work His wonders in this camp making it so amazing for all of us to enjoy, and have fun as well as using this camp to turn our eyes back to the Cross. Thank you God, for bringing us to camp, for making us and molding us to who you want to be. I love you Lord.
